My initial telephone conversation was informative, and helpful, with no high-pressure salesmanship. After several conversations, I requested a home demonstration. The demonstrator showed how the ultra 2 could be disassembled and reassembled. Sadly, the heaviest part was too heavy for me to lift in or out of my car boot – but, if you don’t have a weak back, it should be manageable. I was then given an accompanied test drive, with the demonstrator giving advice. All 5 scooters were available for a test drive. I had a go on the Vitess but decided to stick with the Ultra 2. When the scooter was delivered, it was adjusted to suit me, and I had another accompanied practice drive to ensure that I was entirely happy. The Ultra 2 is brilliant. Because I have a muscle disease and also have spinal problems, I was often uncomfortable when driving my previous scooter. The Ultra 2 allows for better posture and I am much more comfortable. The backrest also gives good lumbar support. The 5-wheel system is amazing – giving me stability while out and about, and manoeuvrability around supermarkets etc. Other things which I like are: wrap-around handlebars, running lights, phone carrier and usb charger, intelligent battery charger, comprehensive handbook and service manual. I am very pleased with it!
